ADULTS Seed Starting Workshop: SATURDAY, APRIL 19th, 10am-12:pm
This workshop is a HANDS ON time of seed starting and gardening basics! We will not only cover information and education about seed starting, but YOU will be putting together a seed starting box, learn about cost effective regenerative gardening, learn to soil block your seeds, and start growing!
YOU WILL LEAVE WITH:
A seed starter box made from cedar wood, filled with soil, and seeds that you’ve planted. This box is reusable and yours to keep!
Information and education on planting seasons and what works best in our grow zone and climate.
Clear ideas about how to set up a garden at home, where to start, and how to take advantage of this growing season!
The possibility for community, by joining with others from our area who are also taking steps toward healthier food, and a more self-sustainable lifestyle, cheaper groceries and enjoying the many benefits of being in nature.
IMPORTANT INFO:
This is an ADULTS ONLY class - If you have kiddos that you want to be a part of learning gardening, we have kids classes too. Adults will learn a lot from the kids class as well :)
When: Saturday, April 19th, 10:am-12pm.
Where: Canyon’s Edge Farm, 407 Briggs Rd, Walnut Shade, MO 65771.
Come a few minutes early, and wear clothes that you’re ok with getting a little dirty.
This is a great opportunity to “seed share”, so if you have a favorite and would like to bring some seeds to share, awesome!! If you don’t have any, just come and use what we have available!
